EOF Summer Program
The Pre-freshman Summer Studies Program provided the first time freshmen with a unique intensive learning experience in which the student’s academic skills were challenged, tested, and as a result, strengthened. The courses to which students were assigned were part of an individualized educational prescription determined by their performance on the ACCUPLACER Placement Test and the student’s choice of major.
The EOF summer program is designed to provide an orientation to the college and the program. Incoming (first year) students are given the opportunity to affirm and/or cultivate the skills and self-discipline needed for academic success and personal development. Throughout the summer, academic coursework, counseling services, tutorial services, leadership development opportunities, and academic/educational enrichment activities are provided. Also, many activities for the student’s social and recreational pleasure are a part of the summer's calendar of events.

Chi Alpha Epsilon
Founded at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, Chi Alpha Epsilon was organized in 1989. Responding to an increased need to acknowledge the continuing successes of students in the Academic Development Program and recognizing that students who share similar experiences could serve as significant models for others, a Greek letter honor society was proposed by Dr. Elbert Saddler.
Members of XAE pledge to continue to excel academically, promote academic excellence in others, and to help those who genuinely aspire to the same goals. Alpha Chi Chapter at Ramapo College of New Jersey was founded by eighteen members on May 1, 2000.
Deans Award
Every Year EOF Students are honored for their achievements, in and out of the classroom.
Alternative Spring Break and Study Abroad Programs
Students have an opportunity to help others during what would normally be a time to take a break and relax during Spring Break.
Those Students that have chosen to take part in the alternative spring break usually find the experience fulfilling and often quite rewarding. Some EOF students chose to take part in the effort to help rebuild New Orleans after the devastation of Katrina.
Students can also choose to participate in one of the many study abroad opportunities at Ramapo. EOF students have traveled to and studied in countries like Ghana, United Kingdom, India, Italy, Spain and Costa Rica.
