Mission Statement
The Office of Financial Aid provides students and their families with financial assistance in a caring, effective and timely manner. The Office of Financial Aid is committed to fair, equitable and quality service to a diverse student population and in accordance with Federal and State regulations.
Financial Aid Calendar
Sept. through April - Prospective students indicate interest in financial aid on admissions applications.
After January 1 - Prospective students may obtain the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) from the high school guidance officer or online.
March 1 - Priority deadline to submit FAFSA in order to receive an award letter beginning on April 1.
April 1 - College begins notification of aid awards on a rolling basis.
June 1 - Last date for students to submit financial aid applications to central processor in order to receive aid that can be applied to fall bills.

Financial Aid CONNECTions Students will receive all award information and document follow-up tracking requests via their Ramapo email address. Fall 2012 Award Letter Information Freshman award letters will be mailed on or after April 1, 2012 and on a a weekly basis therafter. Continuing students will receive award information via their Ramapo email beginnning the week of April 9, 2012. The VA is now accepting applications for the Post 9/11 GI Bill, Chapter 33, online. Please see this link for details: www.gibill.va.gov Important Notice for Financial Aid Recipients Please note that dropping or withdrawing to less than fulltime (12 credits) or less than half time (6 credits) at any time during the term may result in loss or adjustment to your financial aid. Make sure you visit the Financial Aid Office in E210 to discuss how any drop/withdrawal might impact your aid before dropping a class. |
