- Delta Mu Delta Delta Mu Delta is the national honor society in business administration. It is the highest national recognition a business student can earn. Delta Mu Delta was founded as a national organization in 1913 by five professors at NYU, to identify and reward outstanding business administration students. Today, Delta Mu Delta is a distinguished honor to include on one’s resume. At Ramapo College, membership also provides access to networking and career-building events on campus.
- The Information Technology Club
The Information Technology Club complements the Anisfield School of Business Information Systems Major Program by bringing together students and faculty to exchange information and ideas in the sphere of information technologies. Membership in the IT Club is open to all students of Ramapo College of New Jersey who have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average, and who are in good social standing as defined by the Division of Student Affairs. A voting member is one who attended at least three out of the last five meetings of the Spring semester of a given academic year.
- The International Business Club The International Business club is open to students interested in international issues in business. It is an opportunity to meet with international managers to discuss careers. In the past, different events and visits were organized such as a visit of Port Authority terminal.
- The Marketing Club The Ramapo College Chapter of the American Marketing Association provides a wide range of opportunities for students to experience the marketing profession outside of the classroom. The club offers career-building experiences (such as guest speakers and workshops), access to internships, and extensive networking opportunities. We also give students access to leadership positions that provide valuable hands-on ways to apply their classroom knowledge in the professional context. The Marketing Club is open to students in any major, in any of the schools at Ramapo College.
- The Finance Club
The Finance Club offers business majors a variety of extra curricula activities to augment their understanding of finance and investing. We provide a variety of leadership and experiential opportunities including managing a mock investment portfolio and competing in the Barron’s Undergraduate Investment Challenge. Each semester we invite guest speakers from the financial community to speak to the club which also allows students to interact with professionals in the field and to gain insights about prospective career paths. The club also sponsors special events including, movies and an annual trip to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as well as the New York Mercantile Exchange.
- The Federal Reserve Bank Challenge The Federal Reserve Bank Challenge team competes against other prestigious colleges and universities across the country. The competition requires students to argue whether the Federal Open Market Committee should raise, maintain or lower the targeted federal funds rate and to answer questions in front of Federal Reserve Bank economists. The competition is held every November at the New York Federal Reserve Bank and in Washington, D.C.
- The Accounting Club The Accounting Club is open to all students with an interest in the field of Accounting. The purpose of the Accounting Club is to introduce students to the many opportunities and careers available in the Accounting field. We encourage each student to take advantage of internships and to accumulate 150 undergraduate credits towards obtaining a Certified Public Accountant License. We also encourage each member of the club to join the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. Throughout the year we attend networking and leadership events in which students interact with professionals and learn of their “real world” experiences.
