The Ramapo College Dance Team attends NDA College Nationals every year in Daytona Beach, FL! We also perform at all home women’s and men’s Basketball games, various local competitions and events!
It’s an opportunity to continue doing what you love to do, make friends and memories that will last you a lifetime!

THIRD PLACE VICTORY IN NDA COLLEGE CHALLENGE CUP
Congratulations are in order to our first ever Ramapo College of New Jersey Dance Team on their third place victory in the NDA Collegiate Dance Nationals Challenge Cup. This is the largest College Nationals competition in the United States, which took place this past Easter weekend in Daytona Beach, Florida. This team of sixteen strong dancers along with their coach, Michelle Fernandez & team manager Chelsey Graf, made history for Ramapo College of New Jersey .
Words cannot describe the event-filled year this team has had with all they have accomplished. From receiving their bid to Nationals at camp over the summer, to performing at all home men and women basketball games, fundraising, competing in local competitions to representing Ramapo College in Daytona Beach, Florida this past weekend.
This team has not only created a name for Ramapo College of New Jersey in the competitive collegiate dance world, but they have created unforgettable memories to last them a lifetime. For the four graduating seniors: Sara Laurenzi, Jessica Olsen, Danielle Gatti, and Greyson Woods, the close of their final dance team season at Ramapo College is bitter sweet. These four seniors have laid the foundation for the Ramapo College Dance Team and look forward to watching it build into a life long legacy.
Captain Sara Laurenzi tearfully stated, “ I have enjoyed being your team captain. Whoever is going to be captain next year, if you need anything I’ll always be here. I am going to miss you guys.”
This sparked an emotional response from the team, which exemplified the bond the members of this team share, and how much their seniors will truly be missed. Each one of these members has brought something different to the team, and contributed to making it unique. Although, the dance team season has come to a close with an tremendous list of achievements from this 2006-2007 team they truly personified their motto, “ Too Legit, To Quit.”
