Directing / Stage Management Concentration (CA): Home
The Directing / Stage Management Concentration focuses on both disciplines within a practical theater context. Students will focus on all aspects of the theater that impact on directing or stage managing, including all areas of design and acting in order to build a well rounded and thorough foundation. They will have opportunities to work as a stage manager and/or direct productions.
Directing/Stage Management concentrators will develop skills and knowledge that will be useful to continue on to graduate school and/or pursue careers in stage management, directing, producing, education, and many others.
What is a Concentration?
A concentration is a focus on a more targeted field of the major. Some majors have concentrations in which you choose your course of study. These majors include Business Administration, Communication Arts, Music, and Social Science.
