Sculpture Concentration (CA): Home
The Visual Arts Sculpture concentration offers a sculpture concentration for students interested in creating 3D dimensional works of art. This concentration on studio production, this course is designed to develop higher-level thinking, art-related technology skill, art criticism, art history, and aesthetics. Studio production classes in sculpture include metal, wood, experimental sculpture as well as ceramics. The sculpture concentration aims to develop critical thinking and art-related technology skills within an interdisciplinary curriculum.
Sculpture students work in a state-of-the-art, freestanding sculpture studio that contains a fully equipped welding studio and a state-of-the-art kiln for firing.

What is a Concentration?
A concentration is a focus on a more targeted field of the major. Some majors have concentrations in which you choose your course of study. These majors include Business Administration, Communication Arts, Music, and Social Science.
