Theater Major
Theater Studies Concentration (CA): Home
The Theater Studies Concentration focuses on the theory, history, and practice of theater as a part of the larger context of art and culture. Students will focus on coursework in theater, but also study other arts including Visual Arts and Film to better understand the various elements and forms of representation that influence and affect the creation and reception of the interdisciplinary art of theater.
Theater Studies concentrators will develop skills and knowledge that will be useful to continue onto graduate school and/or pursue careers in education, dramaturgy and literary management, arts organizations, marketing/publicity/advertising, and many others.
What is a Concentration?
