Retirement Planning: As an employee of Ramapo College you have the opportunity to save for retirement through supplemental retirement accounts offered by AIG Valic, AXA Equitable, Hartford, ING, Metlife, Prudential and TIAA-CREF. In addition to retirement workshops, individual retirement counseling is offered by each of these carriers. This provides an opportunity for employees to discuss all aspects of retirement savings. Participation in these plans is voluntary and can be elected at any time of the year. |
The major goals of the Department of Human Resources are to assist management in the most effective use of our human resources, and to maximize the potential of those who work for us. We provide the full spectrum of personnel services to faculty and staff in order to support the mission of the College while providing value to each individual. We support the College's commitment to cultural diversity through efforts to recruit and retain a diverse population. By providing training and development opportunities, we support our employees' ability to succeed in a complex and changing environment. The Department fosters a sense of community, and a welcoming campus environment.
