International Scholars' Residence Home
The Office of International Education is responsible for administering faculty and student exchanges with overseas colleges and universities. The Office maintains exchange relations with the following institutions:
- Shanghai Teachers University, Shanghai, People's Republic of China
- Dali University, Dali, People's Republic of China
- Volgograd State Pedagogical University, Volgograd, Russia
- Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Kumasi, Ghana
- Czech Technical University, Prague, Czech Republic.
The Office is also responsible for the administration of the Visiting Scholars' Residence on campus.
Visiting Scholars' Residence is a shared residence for exchange scholars, research grant scholars, and other academic guests of Ramapo College. Also known informally on campus as the "White House," the Residence is designated by Ramapo College to be the "home away from home" for a number of individuals during their visit at the College.
The Office of International Education manages the Visiting Scholars Residence including programming for the visiting scholars, managing the upkeep of the residence, coordinating transportation needs and assisting with integration into the Ramapo College community. Programs include monthly social gatherings, luncheons, dinners, holiday celebrations and off campus trips. in addition, the Office produces the Handbook for Visiting Scholars, available under Resource section.
